Meditation on John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my Peace I give unto you: Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

I, separate and apart from God am lost. There is not one thing I can do of my own self that has any substance. I need only one thing - the Peace not of this world. If and when I have that Peace all my other needs are met. If I am separate and apart from the Peace not of this world, then I am barren. I ask only one thing in prayer and it is this, "May I feel the presence of the Christ Peace in this moment. Without it I am lost. With it there is nothing I cannot do." The Christ Peace is my True Self, and at any moment in which I turn to it, It is there waiting for me. It is there with the Love not of this world. It is standing beside me (inside me!) with the very Love I have been seeking outside of me. Let it be. Let it be expressed in me, silently and sacredly, now at hand for the world to receive.
