Infinite Way Study Practice

The following study practice is designed for those students who already have at least some background with Joel Goldsmith's Infinite Way teaching. My first recommendation would be that you go to the source text or tape where these messages are presented and listen to the original instruction.
Adapted From Joel Goldsmith's "San Francisco Lecture Series" June '48 For this lesson we are going to stop trying to be better men and women. Right now as you are reading this stop taking thought for your personal problems and begin to replace them with thoughts of God. We are going to begin anew in the realization that any betterment we receive must come by the Grace of God. And in proportion as we stop thinking of ourselves and begin thinking out to the world can Grace be made manifest in our lives. Do not leave this lesson untried. Give it a chance to work in your consciousness and then see for yourself if it bears spiritual fruit. Any personal problem that we carry with us stems from the idea that we are thinking of ourselves as something less than God, and believing we are an effect being acted upon by external forces. Now what we are going to do is reverse that and think of ourselves as cause. Right now begin to think of yourself as the Causative Principle of Life! Think of yourself as the Law unto your own Being! Our authority for this claim comes directly from the Master Christ Jesus. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." "I am the resurrection." "I am the water and the wine." "I and the Father are one." We cannot be free to know God aright as long as we see ourselves as someone who is being acted upon by all manner of external forces. When we come into the realization that we are the cause of all that happens in our life we can begin to reformulate our consciousness. We can begin to build a new atmosphere in our life that we will carry with us as we go forth. And as we build this Presence within it will be reflected in our outer lives that we may be the way-showers to all those who come within our consciousness.
